Visual Problem: Rebrand an existing company to better suit its audience.

Dritz is one of the largest names in the sewing industry and has been around for decades. Because of this background, the Dritz brand is trusted within the crafting community. Especially after the surge in crafters in the wake of the pandemic, the brand should be welcoming to the younger generation without alienating the generations that are loyal to the brand. The goal of this project is to revamp their identity system, staying accessible to a wide range of crafters while making the brand seem less cheap. A simple, bright color palette inspires creativity but doesn’t seem like it is meant for a child. Simplicity allows it to seem trustworthy while the colorful nature doesn’t discourage experimentation.
